The Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series represents a significant evolution in workplace communication, specifically engineered to meet the demands of modern, hybrid office environments. This portfolio introduces five distinct phone models—the 9811, 9841, 9851, 9861, and 9871—alongside a dedicated Key Expansion Module (KEM). By integrating the new PhoneOS software, these devices provide a consistent and intuitive user experience that aligns seamlessly with Cisco’s broader video and collaboration ecosystem.

Beyond simple telephony, the 9800 Series is designed to streamline IT operations and facility management. These devices consolidate multiple functions—such as secure enterprise calling, meeting management, desk reservation, and emergency notifications—into a single, unified hardware platform. This approach reduces the complexity typically associated with purchasing, deploying, and managing various office communication tools, offering a highly scalable and cost-effective solution for businesses of all sizes.

Product overview

The Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series is built for versatility, supporting a wide range of platforms including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, Broadworks, and various third-party cloud calling services.
